I am way over-due on my monthly favorites! The last one I wrote was for April Favorites. And just like that – it’s been 6 whole months! Today, I will be writing all about my recently clothing favorites because I have a lot from these past few months.
Since my weight loss, I realize most of my clothes are slightly baggy/loose on me now. I got rid of 95% of my jeans, and I wanted some clothes that would just fit better. I realized how nice it is to have clothes that fit you and your body type. I did quite some online shopping these past few months, and the best part – they’re at a reasonable price! All of these items are either from Old Navy or Banana Republic Factory Outlet. They’re so good – I got some of them in multiple colors and they’re my go-to weekly wears.
I’ve been obsessed with bodysuits lately. I like to tuck my clothes in my pants, and no better way than wearing bodysuits which gets the job done like no other. In the past, I HATED bodysuits because I had one in the past where you would have to remove the whole thing to use the restroom. The ones I purchased and will only purchase has snap-buttons on the crotch area, so it’s easy enough to snap off and on when I need to use the restroom.
Absolutely love this one. I like the square neck as it flattering, but doesn’t show as much cleavage as a V-neck will, which I appreciate because it’s more appropriate for work. The listing price is $25, but there is always a sale. It’s currently on sale for 20% off with a code. I occasionally see it for 30-50% off as well. Keep an eye out on it! The first one I bought was in the color Black Jack in June, and I wear it at least bi-weekly, if not weekly. I recently just purchased it in Copper Moon and White Lilies.
2. Scoop-Neck Thong Bodysuit from Banana Republic Factory
Get this NOW! They’re $16 right now, with an additional 20% off. Highly recommend signing up for the rewards membership (free). With that, you can get an additional 15% off! The material on the Banana Republic Factory’s bodysuit is better than the one from Old Navy. The only reason why I do love the Old Navy one more is because it’s not a thong bodysuit. I think most people prefer thong style anyways so RUN. Get it ASAP! I got it in the color Hue 165, which is the color the model is wearing.
3. High-Waisted O.G. Straight Ankle Jeans for Women from Old Navy
Old Navy is really coming through for P and I lately. P and I went to many stores looking for basic V-neck undershirts for him and couldn’t find any. I saw some online on sale from Old Navy and decided to order a variety. He ended up loving these. I went into the store to return the rest of the shirts that didn’t work out. It happened to be Labor Day weekend and they had these jeans for 50% off in store. FYI: My store sells them for $40 retail, and online is $45. went to try them on and they fit like a glove. I got it in size Petite 0. It’s now my go-to jeans to wear all the time. So glad that I found these, because I only had one other pair of jeans I was wearing constantly >.< These jeans are currently $45 online + 20% off.
4. Girlfriend Utility Chino Pants from Banana Republic Factory
Get this NOW!! It’s currently on sale for $40, but clearance items have an extra 40% off making it $24. ON TOP OF THAT, there’s an additional 15% off when you sign up for the FREE rewards membership. ~$20 for these pants is a STEAL. In August, I purchased it in the color Tan, size Petite 2 for $25. I just saw this deal the other day and purchased it in Black. It is a relaxed fit with stretch to it. Love the all around pockets and the petite length hits my ankle just right. For the longest time, all I had was jeans so wearing a blue top with jeans weren’t working for me, but now I can wear any blue top with either the tan or black pants!
5. Twill Chore Jacket from Banana Republic Factory
It looks like online only sells the color Black one now. I bought the olive green one and I’m keeping my eye on the black one. Love this jacket, because it’s comfortable like a shacket (sweater jacket), but also fits well and more professional looking. I was visiting Copenhagen, Denmark for work and wanted to dress for comfort, professional, and weather. The weather there wasn’t cold enough where I should bring a peacoat, but more of a shacket. But shacket are usually oversized and not as quite professional looking. I looked into blazers, but I have yet to come across a blazer that’s 100% comfortable. This twill chore jacket is seriously the best. I got it in a size XS (I usually get Small, but wanted something more fitting and was worried that the small will look oversized then). Every time I wear this, I get a compliment from someone. The only two outerwear I’ve been grabbing now is this twill chore jacket and the shacket I bought from Khols (I wrote about this in my January favorites). I can’t believe it’s October and I’m still LOVING this shacket.
And with that, I have concluded my recent clothing favorites! Please get them ASAP as I don’t know how long the deals will last. Thanks for joining me today and see you next time!
